The main purpose of Page Setup dialog is to specify the number of horizontal and vertical pages you want to print the genealogy tree. GenoPro will automatically scale the font to fit the desired pages. You are encouraged to use the Print Preview feature to preview the output before printing. Printing your genealogy tree may require you to modify the number of horizontal and vertical pages a few times until you are satisfied with the output. Soon GenoPro will have a scale factor to ease printing.

You can print a genealogy tree up to 150 horizontal and 150 vertical pages. Please take a note Windows NT and Windows 2000 are best suited for printing large genealogy trees. GenoPro can print on any size of paper, including paper from plotters used by CAD tools.
Skip Blank Pages - Do not print the blank pages. Printing a large genealogy tree may create holes where there is nothing to print within an entire page. Check this option if you don't want to have the header and footer printed on empty pages.
Print Header - Print the page number and the position of the page within the mosaic. This feature is useful when printing a genealogy tree on multiple pages.
Print Footer - Print the file name of the genealogy tree and the printing date.
Print Margin Lines - Print crop lines indicating the boundary of the printing. The crop lines are very useful when pasting multiple pages together to create a mosaic.
Easy Page Clipping - Prints the same information twice on adjacent pages. By default, the information printed is very small (1/10th of an inch or 2.54 mm) allowing a small margin of inaccuracy when using scissors to create a mosaic. If you are goofy with a pair of scissors, increase the Page Clipping Threshold to 0.5 and you will never have problem creating a mosaic.
Margin - Reserve space on the edges of every printed page. Reducing the margin allows GenoPro to print more information on each page. The margin is also restricted by the printer hardware.
You can specify the number of horizontal and vertical pages you want to print your genealogy tree. GenoPro will automatically scale the font to the desired layout. To change the number of pages, use the Page Setup dialog from the File menu.
Yes. GenoPro can display your genealogy in any font you wish. If you wish to use a different font to support special characters in your alphabet, you can change default the font in the Preferences Dialog. We have users who printed their genealogy tree in Chinese and Arabic.
You can copy & paste the selection to an empty genealogy and print it. If you make a change, you can print individual pages. Just do a Print Preview to locate the pages you want to print, and from the Print dialog, specify which pages you want to print.
Yes. Many users have printed their genealogy tree on plotters. If you don't have a plotter, you may go to a print shop and use their plotter to print your genealogy tree. GenoPro recommends using Windows NT or Windows 2000 to print a large genealogy tree because Windows 9x has limitations regarding paper size. For instance, a printer/plotter having a 1200 dpi resolution is limited by Windows 9x to paper dimensions of 27 inches (69 cm).
