With the relocation of the King Shaka airport, Greytown has become the gateway to the interior of KwaZulu-Natal. Visitors to The Drakensberg, The Battlefields and The Midlands Meander can exit the airport out the back and find themselves off the beaten track in the real Africa within twenty minutes of the airport! The route will take you through The Valley of a Thousand Hills, fertile sugar farms, into the rolling hills of timberland around Greytown and the through the magnificent scenery of The Tugela Basin, South Africa's largest river - and the distance is the same as through the dreadful Durban traffic and trucks on the N3. Directions: Turn right to Tongaat as you exit the airport, right at R102, left at R614, right at Dalton, right at R33 to Greytown and then continue on R33 or take R74. |

The Google ads on this site are automatically placed and changed regularly. The way it works is best understood by way of an example. Say someone selling fishing tackle wants to advertise his site on the internet. He places his ad with Google and Google then crawls the internet looking for sites that have content related to fishing and automatically places his ad on appropriate sites e.g. those advertising fishing tours, boats, sea-side resorts and so on. As always, there are sometimes unintended outcomes... for example a religious site with the story of Jesus feeding the multitudes with four fish might attract a Google ad selling fishing tackle! The host site where the ad appears (e.g. this site) gets a commision every time a visitor clicks on an ad and more commission if someone buys from the advertiser. We also get commission from google whenever anyone uses the google search function on this site. So again, please click on the links while browsing. We would appreciate your support!! |
